Basically I'm looking to get a feel for how long the rest of you have Henne's leash. If he goes out and has a subpar performance tonight <200 yards and more turnovers than TDs, how would you proceed?

On a team that (let's face it) has a very slim chance to make the playoffs, is it worth it to go out and get someone that will only help you maintain your current level of mediocrity? Or do you let it ride and leave the ball in Chad's hands no matter what?

I tend to be a fairly reactive person and normally (for a playoff contending team) would be strongly in favor of bringing someone else in. But at this point it would take weeks to get someone up to speed and even if we do we aren't likely good enough to make the playoffs anyway.

I'm torn, how about you.

To be clear I am not predicting a Henne failure tonight. If anything I am fairly optimistic after the good preseason, and renewed confidence of his teammates.

The wheels would have to fall off before they make a change.

I think if HE looks dreadful, and the Dolphins go into the bye week winless, that's probably when you do it.

I don't think he's going to look that bad though, even if the Dolphins start 0-2. I really think the defense is going to be overmatched against some really good teams, and that's why we may be in trouble - ESPECIALLY in week 2.

If Chad Henne throws for 200 yards, zero interceptions, I think we win this game. But pulling Chad week 1 is pretty knee-jerk. I think if he strings together 3-4 bad games, it's the Matt Moore show.

Give him a few games before we start calling for his head. Besides, he's had a recent history of throwing 300+ yard and multiple TDs games against the Patriots IN Miami. Not saying this will happen again, but he's got some good history against the Pats D. I just hope he doesn't make any crucial mistakes out there...ala Romo, Roethlisberger, Matty Ice, etc.
