Now that's over with, I do want your opinion on Brock Berlin. Did he show enough to at leat be signed to PS, or is he gone?

Personally, I think he showed enough for PS status.

Who else would we put on the practice squad ?

I thought Brock has played well, and if we can hide him on the practice squad I think that would be a GREAT idea.

don't know, he played mostly 3rd and 4th teamers, without them game planning..so my knowledge is still his college days. He has some ways to go..but I don't think it's with the fins this year.

It all depends on Rohan Davey or others who are cut that have talent and are cut for number reasons. If nothing happens, Berlin may stay on the PS. But the PS is a tricky thing. You put him on the PS, and he can be snagged up by a team in 3 days. Not that I think that would happen but You have to consider the big picture of having to keep other guys in positions of more importance right now. Who knows what Saban is thinking right now on this subject because I believe he is looking at Davey.

As of this point, Berlin Belongs on the PS. If Saban believes there is a more talented QB he wants to take a look at, then Berlin might be gone. Either way, he will find his way on to some team in the NFL because he's got a strong will to play and a lot of heart.

I'd definitely hold on to Brock. He's played a lot better than I thought he was capable of in the first couple preseason games. I think once he gets some experience under his belt, he could be a solid #2 guy to whoever we draft next year for many many seasons, Strock-style.

Have u ever watched Brock Berlin Play?

I hate to be negative to any poster, but the mere fact that there is a thought of developing Brock Berlin is a joke. How can we waste a roster spot on a QB that is more prone to the turnover than Jay Fiedler. Berlin has absolutely ZERO chance of ever becoming a productive NFL starter.

---To be a good QB you first need to be ACCURATE (Berlin is NOT)
---You need to be smart with the football (anyone that has seen Berlin play at the college level knows he is DUMB with the football)
---You need size (Berlin is barely 6 feet)
---you need to be mobile in the pocket (he is not)
---a strong arm (doesn't have that either)

CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME A QUALITY BROCK BERLIN HAS THAT INDICATES HE WILL BE A QUALTITY NFL QB? WOULD LOVE TO HEAR IT, BECAUSE I SURELY HAVE MISSED IT.

THE HOTLINE IS OUT

Before Anyone Says Practice Squad

I Know It Is A Debate Over The Practice Squad, So Don't Ssay He Is Worth That, Because I'd Rather Use That Spot For Someone That Actually Has Talent.

What is this the Jim Rome show now?

lol

yes because he deserves to play third string; what do we have to lose by keeping him on the practice squad

FYI: Brock Berlin has a cannon and is great from the shotgun

What Do U Have To Lose...

HOW ABOUT THE CHANCE TO DEVELOP SOMEONE WITH TALENT.

Berlin is completely useless...why do people have to continue to look to below average players to save the face of the franchise. THERE IS NO CHANCE EVER that berlin will play qb for the dolphins so why would we keep him. If he ever plays we are in deep deep trouble.

Saban knows he has to upgrade the QB postion and will always look to do that. the most important position on the field cannot be flled by a guy that lacks all the necessary components to be a quality NFL starter

I cannot believe we are even talking about brock berlin. Did anyone see how bad he was in college? especially with all the talent he had around him.

Berlin should make the team as the 3rd QB, cut Feeley he sucks
