Your thoughts on Brock Berlin

Just something I want to know. My opinion is neutral on Berlin right about now.

Many people with a lot of credibility said he was camp fodder, for good reason. After all, it could be seen that the college teams he was on was the only thing going for him.

With that being said though, during college, Nick Saban did try to recruit him. Now Nick Saban proven a lot of things, and a knack for spotting talent is one of them. So maybe there is plenty value i. And with all the smokescreens "Double-O Saban" puts up, he could have something in store Brock Berlin. Maybe he has something more in store for Brock, or a maybe he doesn't.

I strongly dislike Berlin, but if Nick Saban puts him on this team, he knows something that this ex D-Back and quite knowledgeable football player/person doesn't. I have never seen anyone lock on to a receiver, and follow his route, unless they were playing Madden.

Not a Brock fan. He was questionable at best at UM, I can't see him suddenly figuring it out in the pros...

I forgot about Brockney Berlinius. I think he'll be battling in camp with the Ragin' Cajun Sage Rosenfagen (it rhymed and I'm bored)..

I think he'll be a practice team all-star but will fail to ever make a 53 man cut.

Yeah, if Linehan decides to convert to a run and shoot offense with the QB in shotgun formation on every play.

I was one of Berlin's biggest critics while first a Florida then at UM. Im a Cane/Dolphin for life so my expectations for him were set perhaps...too high. I've seen guy's be avg. at the college level and then accel in the right system in the NFL...and vice versa. Im giving him a clean slate and good luck to him. That being said I don't think he'll make the roster...no way they let Berlin stay with Sage who should actually get a chance at starting IMO. Rosenfels may not be "competing" in our eyes and he may not have ever wowed us, but at least he's never made us cry like some other Fins QB's. Gus..Feeley and Sage are our QB's....well at least for another year. Cheers.

He could barely win at UM with all the talent in the world around him. He'll never make it in the NFL.
