...in the 2019 draft -- what do you do?

BTW in this scenario you're the Dolphins Head Draft Guru and (yea baby) we got the #1

So...

Bosa? Murray? Josh Allen?

Someone else?

Trade down? Punt towards 2020?

Me, I'd look to nibble my way down adding multiple picks in R2 and R3 with the objective being

7 picks out of the top 100. From those picks I'd target 4-5 LOS (OL/DL) with best tweeners/LB/S

whatever filling out the balance.

Shocker = no QB targeted in the top 100.

Predictable = go LOS with an eye towards multi positional.

Why another safety?

For me, it would come down to Haskins and Murray. Push comes to shove, interviews are positive for both etc., I go with the more dynamic player....Murray.

My gut reaction would be to trade down and acquire as many valuable picks as possible.

Like you said, doesn’t have to be one major trade but many smaller ones.

That said, if we’re picking No.1 that means we would be wise to take a QB if one is worthy of the pick.

Brutal decision but I’m trading out of the spot and acquiring assets.

Edit: I took the easy way out. This Ohio State fan would feel great about adding Nick Bosa. No question there for me.

First of all -- I have no pretenses of knowing what I'm talking about!

Beyond that -- I think S is super important to the D we will be running and

at that point in my post I'm targeting "hybrids" who can roll at "SS" and also

LB and definitely knock the $hit out of the QB blitzing and also run blitz etc.

I'm thinking #20 might be too old/damaged and TJ is not really the answer...

Bigger point for me is -- I'd love to see a wicked nasty kick ask aggressive smart

SOB D that opposing Os hate to play... After that get a QB to go with a new OL and

win baby win! But like I said I'm just speculating without a raincoat on!

:)

3 state titles, player of the year, heisman trophy winner, never been hurt playing football, QB Kyler Murray.

Kyler Murray. I've made that plain for months.

I thought you were pumped on this dude:

Tyree Jackson

6'7" (!!!)

249

and now...you're totally sold on a midget!?

:)

JK CK

Maybe not.

No I am.

PS: seriously -- doesn't it concern you just a li'l that this kid is a 1 season wonder -- and the "wonder" was against less than stellar Ds?

Add to that the 'Bama game and I don't see a dude ready to mix it up against pro level Ds.

Sure he's lots of fun. And I think his "game" has a lot of peeps on a sugar high -- especially those who crave a high fructose QB fix.

I just think he's very high risk on a number of levels...

But yea. Exciting. And yea potentially oodles of fun (sugar). But...

Trading out and filling my team with as many top 100 players as this draft will let me.

Write down Kyler Murray on a piece of paper, make an airplane out of it, and sail that mudda sucka down to the podium.
