But here's the rules:

You may sign three Free Agents

You may select your first 2 picks in the draft.

You may orchestrate one trade (it must be vaguely realistic)

You may make one coaching change if necessary/desired.

You may cut three players you feel dont make the grade.

You may sign three Free Agents
1. Lance Briggs (OLB) Miami require an OLB to play alongside Thomas and Crowder, and Briggs is just what the doctor would order. The tough tackling LB would suit the aqua and white.
2. Nate Clements (CB) Miami struggled at the CB spot last season and signing Clements would not only signficantly upgrade the Phins secondary it would also weaken a divisional rival. The current crop of Miami CB's lack playmaking ability (only 8 interceptions in the 2006 season) and Clements arrival would give Miami the shutdown corner they are crying out for.
3. Leonard Davis (LT) This position has been lacking a top player since Richmond Webb left Miami and Davis is the best LT available in FA. With the uncertain status of the Phins QBs, a good LT is a vital tool in the working of the offense and though Davis has not lived upto his billing, a new start in Miami could do just the job.

You may select your first 2 picks in the draft.
Round One - The absolute dream selection would be WR Calvin Johnson. Miami sorely lack a number one wide reciever and CJ21 is an elite prospect who would make any offense a whole let better.
Realistically he will be off the board come the 9th pick, so another selection could be DT Amobi Okoye or QB Brady Quinn if he falls.

Round Two - Torn between K Mason Crosby, QB Trent Edwards or WR Robert Meachem. All three positions are need points on the roster and would obviously be dependent on the first round selection.

You may orchestrate one trade (it must be vaguely realistic)
Would try and trade down in the first round to gain another second or third round pick.

You may make one coaching change if necessary/desired.
Mike Mularkey would have to go as the OC (that looks like it may happen anyway)

You may cut three players you feel dont make the grade.
K Olindo Mare - Is on a steady decline and its best for both parties to move on.
DE Kevin Carter - Though his play is pretty good, his salary cap and age will count against him. Matt Roth should be given the chance to play.
OG Bennie Anderson - Overpaid and injured.

Three Free Agents1. Leonard Davis 2.lance Briggs 3.asante Samuel
Two Draft Picks 1.ted Ginn Or Bowe 2.qb Who Ever Preforms The Best At The Senior Bowl!
Trade 3rd Round Pick For Micheal Turner!
It Would Be Keith Armstrong But He Has A Different Title Now He Is Special Teams Cord.so Does That Mean We Will See A New Special Teams Coach?
3 Players I Would Cut Mare Mcintosh And Lj Shelton!go Fins......

You may sign three Free Agents
1. Nate Clements - I think this guy will become available, unlike Samuels. Miami must get him. PAY HIM!!
2. Lance Briggs - This is a young replacement for Spragan that can start.
3. Damon Huard - This guy replaces Harrington and gets another shot in Miami. He is easily a backup to Culpepper. And if Culpepper busts in 2007, Huard can save the season, unlike Harrington.

You may select your first 2 picks in the draft.
Round One - Ginn Jr. WR
Round Two - Joe Staley OT

You may orchestrate one trade (it must be vaguely realistic)
No trade.

You may make one coaching change if necessary/desired.
Mularkey steps down as OC.

You may cut three players you feel dont make the grade.
1. Harrington: He has turned out to be barely average. If Miami can get Huard, I say let Harrington go.
2. Booker: If Miami signs Ginn Jr., then Miami will have a deep threat with Chambers, a slot receiver in Welker, and Hagan should be ready to step up and split time with Ginn Jr. Welker and Ginn can split PR/KR duties.
3. Travis Minor: If Ricky comes back, I think Sammy should stay on for special teams instead of Minor.

You may sign three Free Agents
1. Chris Dielman (OG, Chargers)
2. Boss Bailey (OLB, Lions)
3. Hollis Thomas (DT, Saints) (but keep traylor if at all possible)

You may select your first 2 picks in the draft.
1. Levi Brown (OT, Penn State)
2. David Irons (CB, Auburn)

You may orchestrate one trade (it must be vaguely realistic)
I dont believe in predicting trades.

You may make one coaching change if necessary/desired.
Thats Cam Camerons choice. Mularkey wont be OC, im sure the Bengals guy will be.

You may cut three players you feel dont make the grade.
McIntosh.
Shelton.

Free Agents (More realistic):

1. Asante Samuel
2. Kris Dielman
3. Corey Redding

First Two Draft Choices:

1. Ted Ginn Jr.
2. Jarvis Moss (If still available, if not-best OT or DE/OLB)

Trade:

None

Cuts:

1. Marty Booker
2. Jeno James
3. McInney/Anderson

Edit: Oh yea coaching.

Get a OC OK with not calling the plays.

You may sign three Free Agents
#1. Adalius Thomas LB Ravens - Great pass-rusher opposite JT, so versatile, can play any position we need.

#2. Kris Dielman G SD - Familiar with Houck and Cameron, great young O-lineman to fill either guard spot.

#3. Donte Stallworth WR Eagles - Fast, fills speed void at WR, get rid of Booker.

You may select your first 2 picks in the draft.
1st - QB Brady Quinn to groom if he falls to us, or DT Amobi Okoye if he is able to play the nose, so much upside.

2nd- CB Daymeion Hughes, solidify the secondary, great size and speed.

You may orchestrate one trade (it must be vaguely realistic)
Trade Booker for a draft pick.

You may make one coaching change if necessary/desired.
Move Mularkey to TE coach.

You may cut three players you feel dont make the grade.
Anderson G, Carter DE, Harrington QB.

1. Adalius Thomas (OLB) Dolphins need a guy who can be a DE/OLB to keep offenses guessing. Thomas fits the bill. He can play the run as an OLB, rush the QB as a DE, and defend the pass as a safety. His potential is only starting to show and under the right defense, he can be a star. Lance Briggs is a good alternative though he might be more expensive.
2. Asante Samuel (CB) We have no playmaking corner and Samuel's the best in the business. New England's always been cheap in resigning their own FA and I don't think it will change. We remove a valuable piece from our rivals and gain the best corner in aqua and white since Patrick Surtain. The guy has just insane instincts and physical abilities to complement. He's older than Clements and that may drop his price.
3. Kevin Curtis (WR) Dolphins lack speed as Mueller himself states. Curtis is a guy who can start for most teams and was overshadowed by Holt and Bruce. He's a speedy guy who can make the catch and spread the field. He'll be available for leftover cash after Samuel and Thomas. Another plus: he can return kicks.

You may select your first 2 picks in the draft.
Round One - Brady Quinn. Our QB situation is far from stable and it'll help to draft the first QB in the 1st round since Marino. He's a cerebral QB who's used to playing under bad OL's. I think he's a better prospect than Matt Leinart who was taken 10th and fared well this season.

Round Two - Joe Staley. We need a prospect LT and Staley is a good project for Houck to work with. He's still bulking up and it's good that he's a workout warrior. If he can get another 10-15 pounds and keep his agility and speed, he'll be a great LT in the future.

You may orchestrate one trade (it must be vaguely realistic)
Cleo Lemon to the Oakland Raiders for a conditional and probably 6th or 7th round draft pick

You may make one coaching change if necessary/desired.
Sign Ken Zampese for offensive coordinator

You may cut three players you feel dont make the grade.
OG Bennie Anderson - Overpaid and injured.[/QUOTE]
OLB Donnie Spragan - Barely average. Not worth keeping if we get Adalius Thomas and draft another young LB.
CB Michael Lehan - May get burned by janitor running a fly route on the way out.

I would first start off by cutting B Anderson, jeno james, and dan wilkinson.

I would sign samuels or clements depending on the $ part of it, steinback (bc he is a better pass protecting G then dielman n that was our main weakness) and briggs (once CC goes 2 mlb briggs is the wolb and we draft a solb this yr.)

Draft ginn/quinn/ugoh/adams or brown round 1 and kalil, bowe, or spencer round 2.

I see this, j allen at FS, bell at SS, clement/samuels at #1 and allen at 2 with daniels at 3. Zt at mlb but once he is gone cc at mlb, briggs at olb and spencer/adams at solb. Or ugoh at lt with kalil at c. N so forth.

After doing this and reading everyone else's posts, I'm feeling really good about Miami's offseason. There are some major improvements to be made in FA and the draft. Miami has really good 1st and 2nd round picks. And there are some good FAs that could make the defense even better. AWESOME!!!

F/A
1-CB-Asante Samuel
2-LB-Lance Briggs
3-OT-Leornard Davis

Draft
1 - WR -Ted Ginn Jr
2- QB - Drew Stanton

Trade
Culpepper for a 5th or 6th rd pick.

Coaching Change
Fire Mularky

Cut
Daunte Culpepper - If he can't be traded.
Olindo Mare
Bennie Anderson

You may sign three Free Agents:
1. Lance Briggs OLB
2. Chris Dielman LG
3. David Macklin CB
First 2 picks in the draft:

1.Trade down in first round to the packers at 16 get a 2nd round pick and future 3rd, Draft Tedd Ginn at #16
2.David Irons

One trade:
Trade Kevin Carter and Marty Booker to the 49ers for a 2007 3rd pick
You may cut three players:
Joey Harrignton....would trade if in the rules
Seth Mckinney....underachieving, overwieght, wast of money

You may sign three Free Agents
1. Eric Steinbach (OG) We need to really work with our offensive line, Steinbach is a great prospect and definetly will improve our offensive line. I don't feel we need to buy into an OLB at the moment because of the money they cost, we can spend it more wisely.
2. Asante Samuel (CB) If we can bring in Samuel, I'd be happy. I'm somewhat doubtful it'll happen but if we can find a way to bring Samuel in, our secondary would be so much better.
3. Kevin Curtis (WR) We need speed, no doubt in my mind. If we bring in this guy, he'll open up for the field and we'll have more looks to Chambers. Put Chambers in the slot and we're golden. Plus he's cheaper and less injury prone than Ginn Jr and Stallworth.

You may select your first 2 picks in the draft.
Round One - Brady Quinn. If Brady Quinn is available, then by all means necessary, he's our man. If not, I'd take Amobi Okoye. He seems like he'd be a good DT for years to come.

Round Two - Joe Staley is looking pretty good, if not him, then I'd try to bring in a good OLB or QB (If Brady isn't available at #9)

You may orchestrate one trade (it must be vaguely realistic)
Trades are too hard to predict the outcome of.

You may make one coaching change if necessary/desired.
Demote Mularky to a position coach.

You may cut three players you feel dont make the grade.
OG Bennie Anderson - Just costs too much for what's worth
WR Wes Welker - Nothing against him, but if I bring in Kevin Curtis, there's no room for him.
QB Joey Harrington - Do I really need an explanation?

3 Free Agents:
1. Kris Dielman
2. Eric Steinbach
3. Terdell Sands

Trade:
Chris Chambers for a 2nd rounder if a team is willing

2 Draft Picks:
1.Trade down to mid/late 1st round for extra picks and select C Ryan Kalil
2. Best player available

When all is said and done we would have a 1st rounder, a 2nd for trading down, our 2nd rounder, and a 2nd for Chambers.

1 Coaching change:
Don't let the door hit you, Mr. Mularkey

Cut 3 players:
Mare
Bennie Anderson
Jeno James

Let the bashing begin.
