You can tender your EFAs and RFAs now. All UFAs will be available for bidding when we start free agency sometime next month. Your only protection against losing a UFA is the use of your franchise and transition tags.

EFAs and RFAs will be a set amount. Franchise and Transition will be a set amount for each position ALL UFAs go into the free agent pool for bidding. If you want one of your UFAs back...you must outbid the other teams.

It depends on which level tender you give them...all of this is explained in the rules thread. The numbers in that are last years...but they don't change much. I'll see if i can find the 2005 numbers.
