THis is 100% on SABAN, he should have know. Further the Dampage will be hard to turn around. It was his worst comment to date.

This is the same stuff he has been saying since he was HIRED! Saban has been flaunting the Process First philosophy since the beginning! Where have you been?

instead of reporting stories, the media are in the business of creating them. since all semblance of critical thinking is obviously dead in this country, they can get away with it. it takes a slight pause to think about what saban is talking about, and many of us are not capable of pausing, let alone thinking...

Ya but there's things you can say and can't say.......... just like how you never see teams come out and say "We're going to stink for a few years so we can be good later." It's not PC. It's actually very conflictive towards personnel who are out there trying to win now regardless of how realistic that is. Saban's comments were better left for him to know and us to keep guessing about.

Yeah and although I understand him now.
I will expect him to come out and clarify his position as far as winning is concerned because for those who have not been listening to him every week, it kinda sends the wrong signal....especially after a blow loss.

Dont you understand, the media hates Saban as it is. EVERYTIME he says something questionable they will take it out of context and make him look like supreme @-hole of the universe. By the way i am behind Saban 100% on his comments and complete agree, the media having a problem with this is just an example of the biterness they feel towards Saban because of how he treats them.

There are definately dark truths to Saban's comments. The media finds it ironic after his stance at the beginning of the year when he said he's not putting labels on what the team wants to accomplish this year. Now that he's left with no choice and the inevitability that we're going to finish badly he comes out and makes those comments. He probably should have kept them to himself. That kind of explanation was not needed. He could've said "I want to evaluate talent" without admitting as much as he did.

the problem is, there should be SOMEONE in the national media who does listen to him every week. they decided to turn this into a story; they decided to take this one soundbite as if it came from out of nowhere. as professionals, i would assume they know what they're leaving out. i know, i assume too much. most of these people lucked into their jobs and don't have much to offer intellectually.

We all know that what he meant was kinda skewed by how he said it. At first I was a little scared but I'm not worried any longer

Maybe now the refs wont be so biased and let us get some calls so we can win. he he.

The media? his own fans hate him. Our own fans dont even back up anyone on this team let alone Nick Saban. I think the dolphins should move.

i understand where you're coming from, i simply don't agree with the stories they're selling us. everybody in the media complaining about saban now most likely had the phins pencilled in to win 4 games. they know it's a rebuilding process; they know what that entails. many said that it would take saban a couple of years to turn this ship around. what does that mean? losing games, evaluating players, trimming the fat... they know that, even if you ignore everything saban has said all year, what he said and is getting slammed for is true. now they want to sensationalize it to get people to watch? saban should be fined? we should all be fined for watching and listening to these clowns. oh, we are. we pay a lot of money every month to watch television, and they still fill the air with millions of commercials...

unless they move to a solid sports town the fans will be just as bad? Any suggestions?

Some of the fans dont suport Saban. The majority does.
