I just got back from a Baton Rouge Bar, and found out from this site that our beloved Fins are coming to Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge to play the Saints!!

I cannot express how excited I am. Me, and my DOLPHINS fan roomate, are definitely going to be there.

Now, I know all of you were looking forward to my Dolphins fan/Finheaven party outside of the Superdome on October 30th before kickoff.

I will STILL hold it, just now outsided Tiger Stadium. It's only a 1 hour and 15 minute drive from New Orleans.

So, all of you who were planning on meeting me in N.O. for the game, just take the extra ride to B.R. and come to the game at Tiger Sadium. Your tickets will be honored.

I cannot wait for the game, and I'm looking forward to meeting all of you. PM me if you have any questions about how to get to Baton Rouge.

GO FINS BABY. Can't wait till October 30th....and, oh yeah, we AIN'T going to the game thirsty. The beer will be flowing like the blood of the non-believer Saints fans.

My question will be...Is interstate 10 passable coming from the Florida panhandle all the way to where 12 branches off? If the only place it was damaged actually in New Orleans? Otherwise it could be a long trip for me.

I've heard from some that it's open, but then it was closed again for a day or two.

But by the time October 30th comes, it should definitely be passable. And yes, New Orleans and SE Louisiana is the only section of the state that got hit. Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas are fine.
 
Thats awesome! That stadium holds 90,000. I hope it gets filled up with Phins fans! I'll start contemplating a trip up.

Damn, I may have to try to get there. I just heard from my best friend in Slidell who is now in BR, so it would be really awesome to meet up with him there. I will check into it. Damn college student income... :shakeno:
 
well I was contemplating going to the game in Oakland with a friend of mine in November, but this one is sounding like it may be more fun, hmmmm.......... what to do, what to do.............
 
I will definitely be at this game DD. I was hoping it was going to be in San Antonio but Baton Rouge will do just fine. I will need to get more details on the location of the pre-game party from you that gameweek. :drinkers:
 
Thats great news...I don't mean to bring down your thread but, did other members from your area finally show up? Has anyone heard from them? Agua or Aqua (don't really remember the screen name) comes to mind.
