Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins LB Zach Thomas (shoulder) underwent shoulder surgery recently but will be ready for minicamps in May, a source close to the team said Thursday, Jan. 12. He is likely to not play in the Pro Bowl.

Torn Labrum... Not a big deal for a LB. Glad that he got it fixed though!!

Wow, whats that like three this year?? And the guy is a human missle!!! Talk about a love for the game and the desire to win at all cost. I love Zachs heart and passion, what a leader. I wish he were healthy enough to play in the probowl, but I guess getting redy and healthy to help the fins return to the playoffs is just a little more important.

Hope Zach's shoulder surgery goes well. I had arthroscopic surgery on my rotator cuff last March....it takes a while to get back the strength and movement but hopefully Zach will recover fully and be ready for next season. Zach is my favorite phin because he plays all out and plays with injuries. There is no quit in him. :)

But are you as fit as Zach?? That has a lot to do with recovery time.

Darn, that rules him out of the Pro Bowl! Oh well, hope this means he'll be ready for the "Return to Playoffs" season!
