I know injuries derailed Bo's career.

He's not in the HOF because of that of course. (trust me, I know how special he was)

Also this, (due to injuries)
Career NFL statistics
Rushing yards:
2,782
Yards per carry: 5.4
Rushing touchdowns: 16

Exactly, but Bo put up those stats playing only half a season. He didn't start playing in the NFL until halfway through the season after baseball was over. No mini-camp, training camp, etc. Just straight to football after playing an entire baseball season.

He'd run for as many as 900 yards in what amounts to just Nov.-Dec.

Had Bo chosen to stick with either football or baseball exclusively, or not suffered such a freak hip injury vs. the Bengals, he could've made either sport's Hall of Fame.

Oh I totally agree with that.

He was probably the greatest athlete ever.

Sucks injuries derailed a career and talent as great as him.

Ricky Williams
Career NFL statistics
Rushing yards:
10,009
Average: 4.1
Rushing touchdowns: 66

Herschel Walker
Career NFL statistics
Rushing yards:
8,225
Rushing average: 4.2
Rushing touchdowns: 61
Receptions: 512
Receiving yards: 4,859
Receiving touchdowns: 21

It's crazy to think Ricky did that good after all the BS.

Walkers numbers in the USFL are disgusting lol

Did trump own the team then?

All I said is Wake didn't destroy CFL competition just to blow in the NFL.

Total opposite of what other CFLers have done.
It's true that only a few people have started in the CFL and gone on to have very successful NFL careers. Warren Moon, Joe Theismann, Jeff Garcia, Joe Horn, Cam Wake. That's about it.

Many others have made the jump and been moderately successful (e.g. Joe Kapp, Merv Fernandez, Rocket Ismail, Doug Flutie, Brandon Browner, a bunch of kickers, etc. etc.). Jury is still out on Jerrell Freeman. But only a select few who were outstanding in the NFL. Maybe they should have a Hall just for that. :)

That would have solved a ton of arguments lol

Either way you're right. I appreciate all the input (:

Thanks PHINS UP!!

I'm more concerned with my team winning a superbowl than these type of things...the players should be as well....

P.S. Whoops - I should at least honorable mention Jake Scott too, shouldn't I? :)
