Timmons suspended indefinitely

Burke just basically confirmed that Gase is the boss and he's the one who'll decide if/when Timmons can rejoin the team. So, nothing new.

And at the same time, he's showing the player that he has his coordinator's support. IF he takes the necessary steps to prove to Gase he can be relied on.

Dolphins are handling this well. It's now basically Timmons' turn to do the right thing.

Seems like Burke is undermining Gase a little. Or is it just me

It's probably not how it was meant, but that's how I read it. 'Whenever Adam decides he's back on our team' could've been worded better. Burke is desperate for some help with that unit so it was most likely just a combination of frustration and lack of experience talking to the media.

But it is the Dolphins ... so who the **** knows.

Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase said he still hasn’t decided whether linebackerLawrence Timmons, who is suspended indefinitely, will return to the team this season. Gase also said Dolphins executive Mike Tannenbaum has taken over the Timmons matter, for the most part.

“I haven’t made any decisions,” Gase said Thursday. “I’m going one day at a time right now. And I know there’s steps that are being made with what’s going on with him. Mike’s really kind of taken the lead on that and so I’m getting updates as we go.

That is not comforting to know. Why not the HC or GM? Any personnel involvement that Tannenbaum has is too much.

At this point - I really don't care what happened...but has anybody seen Timmons?

Is he in PA? Is he in Florida? Is he banned from the facility? Is he working out? Is he in a mental facility?

Where is the guy?

Can TMZ or someone update us?

Nope. Not. A word.. interesting...

If Mike is making the decision on Timmons he'll be back sooner than later.

Pretty sure the ultimate decision is on Gase. Only thing Tannenbaum can do is trade Timmons (as if anyone would take him). Gase has final say on whether Timmons ever makes it onto the field in a Dolphins uniform.

It came from Gase's mouth.

Latest article says he wsnted to go back to the burg.....kinda irritates me

Bleacher Report has an article that says, Timmons wanted to return the Steelers? Not sure if it's speculation or based on facts. But if true, which very well could be the case, considering he was in Pittsburgh during the week 1 break, this isn't very good for the Dolphins franchise. It's an embarrassment!!! This doesn't seem to be over?

I don't think anybody realistically sees it like that and that whole idea should reflect more on Timmons state of mind than Miami's organization. Although social media will portray it any way it seems fit.
