If Elway fires Vance Joseph, would you want him back as DC?

No. He was a bad hire in the first place, overrated and a bad hire for Denver. Not only that, but some other team will be stupid enough to make him their head coach once he stinks it up here again and Miami will be back starting over on defense again. Let him run his ridiculous wide 9 and lazy coverage somewhere else. There's a reason Denver went from tops in the league on defense to giving up 40+ per game.

Yup, this is what I’d do. The Rams and Eagles hired experienced DC’s and it worked out much better than the inexperience within the Miami coaching staff. I can only imagine how good this defense could be with either Swartz, Philips, Rob Marinelli or Fangio at the helm.
 
VJ = garbage

This guy sucked last year and I was thankful he left. Miami needs to stop hiring losers from crap franchises. Gase from the Bears; VJ and Burke from Bangals; Tannenbaum from the Jets. All of those teams are ****. I would rather give a college coach a chance than anyone associated with those **** teams.
 
No way! We set a dubious franchise record for yards allowed. Pass.
 
Miami has tried this mix-and-match style of bringing guys in for years, and it hasn't worked.

We truly need a completely new staff, a completely new front office, and a completely new attitude.

The Dolphins are now polluting the rest of the NFL with their bad decisions. Apparently, Joseph checked every box with Elway except the ability to coach football box.
