we're likely to wind up being terrible again at guard and center so this sounds like a pipe dream. why would you do it anyway and shorten his career when you have all these talented receivers? it's the most disturbing thing I've heard Gase say to date.

I'm not sure about that. Gase really likes to pass when we are leading in games. Inside the 10, I would love it if we could run it in more or better yet, score from outside the redzone. I don't like setting up to pass inside the 3 yard especially on 1st down. Don't like the fade in the end zone play it is much lower percentage play than a designed run or pass with receivers crossing in a pic or slant play like the Pats do. We have to cut down on our penalties along the OL and DL and we need to be able to pick up 3rd and short consistantly.
