We caught a few breaks. They dropped a lot of easy passes early on. We're just not good at football.

I would. This was not a game we were going to win without some breaks. We caught no breaks. The Texans caught several.

You're right, unfortunately all the breaks were the ones that came out of Tanny's hands.

The fact of the matter is that we went into a game with a playoff team last year that was tied, with us playing well, until our QB turned the ball over on pretty much 3 straight passes. That was the sole difference in the game.

As doom and gloom as it has been here, this is a team that finished 6-3 last year and has the same QB who lead them then. We easily could have won this game and the deciding factor was QB play.

It's pretty ridiculous to go into week one with a QB if you are going to accept a lower standard of play. It's why most of the successful coaches in this league haven't started a rookie week one at the QB position, even if he is the guy you will build around.
