benn is the best WR in this class hands down IMO. i think we'll go ILB though. mcclain will most likely be gone - so i'm all about drafting spikes.

I'm not so sure about drafting Spikes - he reminds me a ton of Channing Crowder in college. I don't know if he would be a huge upgrade for us.

i've always been a big channing fan - now and then. but channing has NOTHING on spikes. channing was solid while not spectacular - much like he is now. channing got drafted about where he graded out - which was about right. he doesn't have the size, speed, strength, tenacity, instincts ... basically none of the gifts the football gods blessed brandon with. spikes grades out as first round pick - which is exactly where he'll go. mcclain and spikes will start and perform in the NFL for years. i know this. i would love to have either of them here b/c they are both PERFECT for the 3-4 scheme.

I wish Illinois had a better QB or offense so we could see more of what Benn can do. I like Dez Bryant if we take a WR in the 1st round, but we'll see how things play out.
