Would be our best ILB since Zach
No but that won’t matter anyway because we're going to get enough high price guys in free agency and we're only losing Ogbah so we won’t be getting any comp picks.Would not count towards compensation draft picks either
absolutely.. would be a great signing.. this is a no brainer..Just got released, been a top 5 LB for years. Dunno what y'alls thoughts would be for bringing him though.
Keep them bothSo let Ogbah walk and sign him
But the fact is, his team that sees him all the time cut him. There’s a reason why. These awards often follow players past their prime because of reputation. I thought he was already looking less of an impact player before last season. I watched him play last year a few times and didn’t see any real impact plays you used to see from him. He may not be washed up but this is not an all pro player anymore.Dude is only 31 years old, made all pro last year..
That would be niceKeep them both
but that doesn't sound very friendly :-)Bobby Wagner is available?
Wow
and yes lets get him- it will piss my best friend off even more---yes Seahawk fan
From the midnight sun where the hot springs flowThat would be nice
but they got luck!Seattle is going through a rebuild. Did some miss the Wilson trade?
The reason why they cut him can be as simple as freeing up cap space for a team that is going through a possibly long rebuild with no QB.
They got a boatload of picks. The trade market probably wasn’t there for a 32lb on the last year of his deal/team did him a favor allowing to go where he wants to go.
Sure, this isn’t the same player from the mid 2010s but he still has enough in the tank for the next few years.
Exactly. Also at his age he will likely be looking to sign with a team that is a legitimate SB contender next year and unfortunately that’s not the Dolphins.ok guys, lets see how much he wants though ......it's not that simple. Great player but lets see what his price is first.
excellent pointTough call on this one. The book on older linebackers isn't strong. Yes, he's been a star for a long time, but that's part of the problem... he's 32 this year and the 'hawks cut him because his contract was MUCH too high at about 20m/year.
At half that, and on a one year contract, he'd be attractive to a team on the cusp of a Super Bowl. I suspect he fits better elsewhere than Miami.
Danny it's not done yet… We can at least hopeNo but that won’t matter anyway because we're going to get enough high price guys in free agency and we're only losing Ogbah so we won’t be getting any comp picks.
