Bring in Bill Cowher!

A Successful NFL coach with 10 postseason appearances out of 15, 8 division titles,a superbowl ring, and a .623 win% should have been this teams first target in the first place. Not a college coach, whom of which the majority, have failed to provide any success to the NFL teams they've coached. Ship out Ireland, maybe we can convince him on keeping Nolan, but if not, our defense still had problems getting off the field on many occasions. Pay The Man If you want to win now and in the future.
I love the idea of Cowher as our head coach:
- He'll bring immediate impact much like he did his 1st year in Pitt going 11-5
- He's much respected and a proven winner and will win over the locker room immediately
- He's still relatively young for a coach looking to begin his second big tenure as a NFL coach
- He has won in the past with a slew of mediocre quarterbacks
BUT most importantly he has already learned the hard way you cannot win Super Bowls until you go out and get a real franchise caliber quarterback.
Why I don't like is that he doesn't want to work with Mike Nolan. Nolan has been a big improvement for us.
