Just took a look on where we were running vs Houston, and was a little surprised.

Bush ran 3 time to the LE, outside Long, for 13 yards. He ran behind Long 4 times for 19 yards, 2 times behind Cog for 14, 3 times ML (between Cog and Pouncey) for 7 yards, and 2 times MR (between Jerry and Pounces) for 18 yards. Nothing to the right.

Thomas ran 1 time ML for 1 yard, 1 time behind Jerry for 8 yards, and 1 time behind Martin for 2 yards.

Interesting how we did that.
 
Once we get this new scheme worked out, this running game is gonna be special.

As much hate as Long and Incognito get on here they are very good run blockers

They get the hate because they suck at pass blocking. Long especially should be good at both. Long just like Dansby want/getting paid elite money, but aren't producing like elite players.
 
Yeah re watching the game we definitely have a running game. We were doing good in the passing game until the passes started getting tipped.
 
i think we will end up with a pretty good running game. i think d. thomas will have a good year and surprise fin fans. any word on his concussion?

The **** are you talking about? Jake has never given up 10 sacks in a season in the past 4 seasons.
Hell wasnt the most 7 or something like that? And thats because he had a shoulder issue.
Jake LOng is an elite LT, its not his fault that some people are are dumber than a box of rocks.

You still need both. See San Francisco , Baltimore , Houston and Pittsburg to name a few.

With no running attack the defense tees off the the QB and plays nickle all day.You MUST at least keep them honest.
