Cyrus Kouandijio Just released

Does anyone know if he's got health issues? Too lazy to find out.

Kouandjio had hip surgery after a mysterious home incident in January and then had an even more bizarre run-in with police in April where he was found naked in a field climbing over an electric fence before crying "shoot me!"

He might be crazy, like Dimitrius Underwood (1999)

Fire sale with a free year for the coach and GM. They know they're not competing for anything, so they're being aggressive in rebuilding. It's similar to what Jimmy Johnson did in Dallas. Of course, it will only work if they start drafting well.
Oh hell they do not. JJ got so many picks he could afford to fail on some of them. The Bills are walking on a tight robe.

If the Bills could get picks for McCoy the way JJ got picks for Walker, you think McCoy is a Bill today?

It's a similar approach in a different time. You don't have drunk owners telling their GM's to trade drafts away for washed-up players - or, at least, not as often.

Has anybody drafted worse than the Bills recently? Here are the 1st and 2nd round picks from 2012 - 2016:

2016 1 1 19 19 Shaq Lawson DE Clemson
2 2 10 41 Reggie Ragland LB Alabama

2015 1 2 18 50 Ronald Darby DB Florida State

2014 1 1 4 4 Sammy Watkins WR Clemson
2 2 12 44 Cyrus Kouandjio T Alabama

2013 1 1 16 16 EJ Manuel QB Florida State
2 2 9 41 Robert Woods WR USC
3 2 14 46 Kiko Alonso LB Oregon

2012 1 1 10 10 Stephon Gilmore DB South Carolina
2 2 9 41 Cordy Glenn T Georgia

Two are still on the team.
They keep drafting from overrated thug schools, EVERY last one except for Kiko Alonso comes from a football factory where the hype and bling of recruiting draw in the marginal character guys.

Yes, SOS included in that time frame. Spurrier had such shining citizens when he was at the top of his run at SC.

That's my point. For Walker and 3 or 4 draft picks the Cowboys received 5 players and 8 draft picks. Some of those draft picks were traded for more draft picks. In addition to that he received compensation picks for trading and/or releasing the players JJ received from the Vikes.
The Bills situation is not even close to the JJ deal. Not even close. What people forget is that from that trade only a handful of players became part of the Cowboys dynasty. Even JJ admitted that they a bunch of bad players drafted but it was the odds which were in their favor. To even come close to JJ's success the Bills have to hit on almost every draft pick.
The day of the trade the Cowboys already had players like Michael Irvin and Troy Aikman on their roster.

I am so not worried about the Bills in the near future. They already own #1 of the longest playoff drought (yes, worse than Cleveland) and they will stay out for a few more years. Heck Cleveland may break their drought (currently at 14) before Buffalo (currently at 17).

To be fair, if your stuck playing for the Bills is wanting to die really that crazy?

I had forgotten the naked don't shoot me episode.
With 1000 players to be cut Saturday, I say pass.

i rather keep Eric Smith, Sam Young might be in trouble because of him anyways

He's mediocre and possibly insane. Massive pass.

If it comes down to it, you keep Smith over Young every day of the week. Smith costs peanuts and is nothing but upside. Young has been worst case scenario in the preseason.
