Details in Aaron Hernandez Arrest

Thanks for this post...and the OP... What I dont get is WHY wasn't Lloyd to be trusted? What was he telling people? Why is Hernandez so paranoid? What shady crap was he up to?

Feenster- Sorry about your friend sucks he was caught up in that. Unfortunately a lot of people are going to automatically going to assume he is a gangster because of who he was associating with. I did the same thing, but I take your word for it and my opinion has change. You can't blame him for wanting to hang out with Hernandez. So if he wasn't involved in drug dealings or gangs this is a really sad story.

Yeah man, I saw champagnes post and I figured I'd jump in and let people know this wasn't just some random thug. He was a good kid with a caring family on and off the field. 72 I can say he was a well liked man from first hand experience including spending 3 years in the NEFL with him. The Bandits (his team) are one of our biggest rivals but we also have a huge mutual respect between each other and many of us have developed friendships playing the game we all love. I look forward to playing Boston this year and paying my respects to Odin.

Id say its actually pretty likely Odin is dead because he wasnt a thug.

the lloyd guy mightve been a bad man or was in a gang, but maybe he wanted out. Which is fatal for guys once they join a gang, and I can't help feel hernandez is or was connected to a gang or drug dealings. And maybe felt lloyd was turning his back on him for leaving. The part about hernandez not liking who lloyd was associating with, makes me think those other guys could've been rival gang members or dealers. Just something fishy about this, and why hernandez said you can't trust anybody anymore, because of this. And how gangs take a person going or talking to rival gangs seriously. anyway, bye bye hernandez.

You know what the one thing I notice watching coverage of this is?

He looks comfortable in court. He's there in handcuffs, in a courtroom, with his lawyer getting up and blathering on about this and that, and he looks completely calm and comfortable.

That's just bizarre to me.

yeah killers usually have that lack of care or emotion. I mean this is his supposed buddy and he could care less. You know murderers are murderers for different reasons but they share something common, many lack empathy severely or extreme narcissism and where stone cold killer comes from.

I don't know if it indicates whether or not he is guilty or innocent -- I am not a psychologist or a behavioral specialist.

But if I were wrongly accused of murder, standing in a courtroom cuffed and denied bail, I think I would be having a nervous breakdown.

yeah but some killers have such a strong narcissism that they truly don't believe they will go in prison or he doesn't care. Sure some wack jobs that are guilty, put on an act to try to seem remorseful when they aren't.

Too bad this wasnt in texas. AH doesnt deserve to live.

I'd say that's a fair assessment. Although even a guilty person would be freaking out right now too, at least someone that wasn't a career criminal. Some people are unusually stoic though, making it tough to know what they are thinking. I haven't seen enough video of him talking to know if that's the case with him or not. Really there isn't enough to say, but if we're just being general and going by a standard bell curve, yeah he should be visibly sweating it out right now...

I dont think thats a crazy conclusion to jump to. I am glad I read feensters post though. I said its possible that Llyod was gang affiliated in the other thread but I didnt mean nothing against him, personally. This is a baffling situation. Those texts made my stomach turn. I couldn't imagine being a semi-pro athlete, befriending one of the best TEs in the NFL, then coming to the realization he is going to end your life. whoa.

True about running with whomever maybe making you guilty by association, but thats not the case here at all. In this case we have a semi pro football player that was hanging out with a famous NFL star, probably partially out of admiration and partially hoping he could get a foot in some door somewhere. Hernandez was a famous, wealthy, well respected football star. Not some thug off the streets. I wouldnt assume that Odin had any clue as to what Hernandez was like. The texts make me think he was scared of Hernandez for a long while. He had obviously been telling his family about his fears, and I'm thinkin Hernandez was a lot bigger into that lifestyle than we know. The other guy he shot wouldnt even try to prosecute him he was so scared.

Nick, what's your thoughts on his body language, failure to proclaim his innocence, overall demeanor?

Interrogation training I received many years ago taught me that an innocent person normally becomes irate, insistent, anxious and repeatedly denies involvement while a guilty person is passive, bored, disinterested, or can be very attentive but shows no urgency in proclaiming his innocence. Additionally, his body language in court showed me a very cold, arrogant attitude. The look he was giving the DA was chilling. Not sure if he was playing to the camera or giving us an accurate portrayal of who he really is.

I agree the looks he was giving were pretty weird, posing for the cameras, smirking, just an overall ****y demeanor. Wouldn't an innocent person in this situation looked a little more stressed or atleast a little sad about the death of his friend. You try to reserve judgement until you hear all the facts but sometimes you just can't ignore that overwhelming gut feeling this guy is orchestrated all of this and he thought he was untouchable.
