Dolphins #1 on Player Report Card List

And the payoff is...............?

I said it in the thread that was linked at the top. Tyreek didn't come here for our exquisite lunches or for filet mignon Fridays. We were the ones who offered the most money, that's why he's here. FA's are kind of that way now - get the most money while you can. I don't see that changing or this report card meaning a lot as far as playoff football success. Just look who's last. Kind of funny, really. But hey, maybe a few of our FAs will choose to hang around here instead of looking for greener pastures once they've been here and then see some of these other team ranks.....maybe.

I don't buy it! It's complete BS!!

There's no way we are tops in nutrition, training staff, strength coach, food, stretching, fitness, blah blah blah yet we lead the league every fvckn year with games missed due to injury!

The owner wants the players singing kumbaya in the locker room. He also wants to go to the Dairy Queen after the games.

Building a country club in south Florida is not a good idea for a football team.

Being 1st in all those categories has nothing to do with being injured on the field. Football is a contact sport and players get hurt and end up missing games no matter how great a shape they are in. It’s just part of the game unfortunately.

No sh1t Sherlock about footballbeing a contact sport....lofl at your first line it doesn't add up, like at all... it's odd that every year the past 5 plus years the Dolphins HAVE led the NFL in games lost due to injury...yet we rank #1 in strength, conditioning, training, etc. Something is amiss, and I call BS.

The rankings aren't based off scientific fact or anything. It's the players rating the different aspects of the organization from how I understand it.

Having a beautiful training facility or great staff doesn't mean you're going to have less injuries.

#1 in your programs, #99 in your recent playoff win column...

If you have the best training staff, best coaches, best nutrition...how is it every year we lead the league in games missed due to injury? It's not hard to see that obviously we do not have the best facilities or training staff if we always lead the league with specialists who specialize either by strength, diet, training, health, facilities management, etc how is it we lead the league every year for several years in a row? Is it just a coincidence, or maybe, we really don't have the best training staff, strength coach,etc....something doesn't add up here.

I can't be the only guy in the room that understands this lol.

Well our facility is basically brand new so it must be among the best. We do seem to have an abnormal amount of injuries every year. It is a fact that we spend top dollar on nutrition, staff etc. it is a fact that science/medicine is more advanced than ever before. So why all the injuries? I think it’s because we practice less and the practices are less physical than ever. Teams used to do 2 a days in august Miami heat. Players also may rather sit out than play hurt because it could affect their value. Just my two cents
