Because you're hoping that an UDFA will somehow claim the starting job and save our season?

Actually that's an affirmative! We made history by orchestrating the greatest turnaround in the annals of the NFL, so why not again? Slimm could probably answer this: has a UDFA a)ever won the starting QB job and b)had a winning first season, and/or c)taken his team to the playoffs. Like Kevin Garnett said a few yrs ago: "anything is possible!" (didn't say "probably" LOL)

And in other news...

The offense tended to struggle and everyone associated seemed to have a tough day. The quarterback’s weren’t sharp, the running backs had a tough time hitting holes and holding onto the ball, the line had a tough time getting those holes open and the receivers had a case of the dropsy’s.

...while QB Tom Brady has some low throws and miscommunications with some of the receivers.

My point?

Everybody looks like crap. It's called training camp.
