Is it not commendable for a person to recoup some lost dignity and even aspire for greatness (the playoffs, championships, etc.) - particularly when it is against all odds?

Yeah, but you also have to be realistic. Right now they have a snowball's chance in hell of making it.

Keep playing hard, let the chips fall where they may. Don't talk about things that are far, far into the future (if at all).

We will win enough games to only ruin our shot at one of the top qb's. Mediocrity is what this franchise is about. 7 to 9 wins a year. Enough to get our hopes up to only miss the playoffs and ruin our likelihood of drafting a franchise qb.

Bunch of bull.

The goal is obviously to make the playoffs, what the hell was their goal when the season started?

They need to STFU until at least 7-7 and then they can start to talk about a possible playoff berth.

They need to focus on one game at a time (no matter how cliche it sounds) and fly under the radar so they can sneak up on people.

Now we as fans can talk and say whatever we want, but the people on the team need to just do their job and focus.
