I’d also love to trade Ogbah and Cedrick if possible. Maybe even Baker as well but I didn’t want to include any trades in my mock since it takes two to trade.

I’d love to hear y’alls feedback on my mock! Tell me if you guys like the moves and if you think they would help us improve! Also let my know how realistic you think my mock is!

Restructuring Armstead makes me nervous with his injury issues and just extending cap issues to the future when he may rarely be available. Hill might be doable, but he refused that before in KC, so I guess we will see. I'd be surprised if X was willing to fool around with his contract again.

I agree with the resigns, most of you FA and I like LaPorta in the draft too.

I like it all except the Safety signing. I want a better player there, and hoping for a younger one as well.
I'd like Rowe back too as our top backup.

I agree that I’d like a better and younger safety but I think Jones will be fine as a starter and it’d be smart to settle for a cheap depth guy so we can save our money for bigger needs!

I like Jones there too, but I suspect we have big plans for him at Nickel and Dime LB in Fazio's scheme. He will play in the box a lot and we will need someone to team with Holland in 2 deep.

I like a lot of this.

Main differences for me:

1) There’s nothing left to restructure in X’s deal. It would just be a straight up re-negotiation. So I’d pass on that.

2) I don’t want Greg Little back. I do want Brandon Shell back. I’d also take Ingram and Riley back.

3) My free agent signings would be Bobby Wagner, Jordan Poyer, Patrick Peterson, and Bobby Okereke.

4) In the draft, I’d go Tucker Kraft in Round 2, then Devon Achane and Julius Brents in Round 3. In Rounds 6 and 7, I’d go best available developmental DT and RB.

Solid, but need another CB. Counting on a lot of injured guys on that list. Who is Forbes? Did I miss something?

I like most of it. Good mock.

I hate the restructure of Howard, we need to get out of his contract asap, not extend the money further down the road, hes already way past his prime and killing out cap situation.

I love the backs in this class but Spears isn't in my top 5, I think we could do better but hes not awful by any means.

We don't have money for both Wagner and Poyer. One maybe but both seems impossible.

X will ask for 80 more million to be added. His ego knows no bounds.

We don't have money for both Wagner and Poyer. One maybe but both seems impossible.
We have more than enough for those two. Wagner is not getting more than $10-12 million per year. That’s what his current Rams deal is, and he’s getting cut rather than anyone trading a late round pick for him.

And Poyer is probably looking at similar money, maybe a little less. Old safeties rarely get paid.

I think Miami might sign at least one mid tier F/A and concentrate on using it's initial cap space to re-sign much of their own. Restructuring Hill will give Miami about $15 million to open up F/A with. Not much you can do with that. But if they extend Wilkins and/or Williams that could potentially add another $7m - $10m. Perhaps that's how Miami becomes, a bigger spender?

It feels like 2023 will be a bargin hunt type F/A season.

Not much we can do with $15M in cap space? For the 2022 season, the cap hits for Tyreek Hill, Terron Armstead, and Connor Williams (our three biggest off-season additions) were $16 million combined.
