First mock draft

Great mock! Like others I think Swope might be gone before your mocking him, and I'm sure Poyer will be off the board. He will go in the 2nd or early 3rd. Good stuff though Mateo. I really like the Reddick call with the potential compensatory pick. We need to start adding some young depth at LB to develop into future starters for 2014/15 when Burnett and Dansby's contracts are up.

Thanks

Poyer is going up on a lot of boards, but that's still around where he should be taken. Hopefully he's there because he has some cover skills I think we could develop. Yeah, Reddick is a guy I liked since last year. He has fallen a bit down some boards since then. Would be a great pick up imo.

Nice job with draft... I'm not sure Carradine will fall to #42.. I have a feeling he will go late RD 1 maybe sooner- to me he is the best DE in the draft.. Love doubling up at WR and CB especially if we don't address those needs in free agency..not crazy about Banks, seems like a more of a zone corner-bit slow for my liking..

Carradine is either the best DE in the draft or for sure the 2nd best.

There are always players that go higher than expected and some that go lower than expected, so yeah he might go before that pick. I tried to keep the picks as close to the projections as possible, so I didn't have a 'dream' draft

I like it.
Particularly the carradine pick. Im not against him at 42 at all. That is an investment that will have a nice payoff!!

Good job

1. Xavier Rhodes CB

2a. Tank Carradine DE

2b. Ryan Swope WR

3a. Jordan Poyer CB

3b. Jordan Reed TE

4. DJ Swearinger FS

5. Luke Marquardt OT or Zac Stacy RB

7a. Omoregie Uzzi OG

7b. Jeff Nady OT

4th round compensatory pick would still be: 4b. Kevin Reddick ILB or Cornelius Washington OLB

I feel that the TE position can be addressed in FA at some point. We have a great need for DB's and DE. I think we take a defensive player at #12.
Eifert is going to be a good player, but Escobar (fins showing interest), can be had later in rounds 2-3.

Yeah, I think it'll definitely be a defensive player taken with that first pick now that we got Keller. A few corners and some O-line depth are our needs now.

I'll wait till after free agency to do another mock because they keep signing players

Nice job.
I'll give it a shot :ponder:

1. Tyler Eifert TE

2a. Tank Carradine DE

2b. Quinton Patton WR

3a. Ryan Swope WR

3b. Jordan Poyer CB

4. Leon McFadden CB

5. Luke Marquardt OT

7. Zac Stacy RB

7. Omoregie Uzzi OG

If we get the 4th round compensatory pick I'd take: 4b. Kevin Reddick ILB or Cornelius Washington OLB

Along with Hartline, Bess and Matthews I think a pair of Swope and Patton would make this offense lethal. We get a starting tight end, starting DE opposite Wake, receiver depth, cornerback depth with possibly 2 starters? and tackle help within the first five rounds. All the players are projected to go in or really near to those spots. What do you think? :)

I see Ertz gone before #54, Hayden gone by #82, Rambo gone by #111, Lattimore is iffy at 5a but there will be a good RB there. Also I would be more concerned about OT.

Thanks for the mock!

Sorry man but unless something weird happened, Zach Ertz won't be there at 2b.

Also, OL is weak after this draft.

Idk, with all this talk about Eifert getting taken around the bottom of round 1, Ertz could slip, but yeah he might be gone. Hayden has had his stock rise this past week, so that's true also. Rambo should be around 111 though and Lattimore also.
