Florida State and Texas A&M to SEC? Internet buzz says yes

To be the big fish, you have to be the best. And since you can't even win the conference, you're not the big fish. FSU fans are so delusional.
That's your opinion.

Its also about more than just football. FSU has one of the best if not the best athletic programs in the entire country. Every sports team, men and women has made the postseason for the past two years... no other school can claim that.

You can make all of the arbitrary distinctions that you want but at the end of the day, the ACC losing FSU hurts them as much as losing any other team in the conference.

The ACC hurting by losing FSU is different than FSU being a good pick for the SEC. FSU's good gymnastics and swimming teams doesn't mean squat to the SEC, they have 5 - 7 of the best athletic departments in the country easily, FSU isn't on the same page as those big boys in the SEC.

It's irrelevant now, but FSU and / or Clemson would not be invited by the SEC. This has always, and will always be about TV $. And the addition of those two does nothing to expand the television foot print of the SEC. Mike Slive wants to be able to go back to the networks in a few years and get a new deal based on new households that the SEC is getting into. Texas A&M is a logical choice. Missouri is a good pick. When they do elect to expand, they will go after Virginia Tech before FSU, because they can grab the DC market well with VA Tech.

It won't belong until you have 4 super conferences which will lead to a true national championship. Canes fans have to be pissed because they will be left out in the cold.
