oh boy,look out
When is that quote from?
Can't imagine that is something he would utter this week.
I got bad news for Adam, he's about to be 0-3 against Dan Quinn.
Make it so coach Gase.
Realistically it will be a tough nut to crack but anything can happen so ...
If Miami as a whole can get there heads out of there azz.We can beat them.
Atlantas offense doesn't look so good with Shanahan gone.
Stranger things have happened - during the same week 6 in 2016 actually. The offense will eventually score 20+ points (in a single game i mean, sadly it's important to differentiate vs "all year"), maybe this week it happens.
I wish Miami would win but you are delusional if you think we will. Atl is going to embarrass us Sunday and I would definitely put money on it. Gase is a moron that refuses to adapt the game plan. Once our D gets tired from being on the field 70% of the time, it will be over.
Maybe Gase should adapt to the fact that the o-line sucks and that we don't have Tannehill to cover for them anymore
Gase should give up the play book and bench Cutler.
He said that during a job interview a year before he got the Dolphins job.
Nothing turns a possible blowout into a dangerously competitive upset quicker then when you have a team that has a fire lit under them, and nothing lights a fire into a team quicker then a HC that himself has a huge fire already lit under him about losing to a possible opponent.
It is very obvious that Gase is pretty done with losing, and players not doing their jobs right especially on his side of the ball, but when Gase is obviously showing an extra bit of venom at the possibility of yet again losing the Falcons...don't be too surprised if the Dolphins come for blood from the 1st sound of that whistle.
This is exactly what it is, a huge statement game.
Trap game for Atlanta let’s go Fins up. This win could change the whole season. I wish Moore was starting right now though honestly
I hate to break it Coach but this might not be the week for revenge. Give me RT back and we can talk. Unless Cutler can actually score some points, we're in big trouble. Our D will have a tough time as well. I hope we can run it on them and win the old way. Low scoring, great defense, time of possession..
if Gase can pull this win out his ***, I won't ever question him again
Locker room material for the Falcons. Thanks a lot Gase.
He said it in a job interview a year and a half ago. Non story
Definitely pre cutler
I agree their offense is not as efficient with Shanahan gone; but it's still good enough to score 28 points against our pass defense.
Guys, most of you are setting yourselves up for massive heartbreak this weekend. Have some beer ready, Cutler and the guru will maybe break 100 passing yards.
I really think this is the game our offense has a good performance. If nothing else, they are due. Even bad teams have good games. And I still don't think this is a bad team.
However I also think it's the game our D gets exposed. It's a matchup nightmare with great recieving RBs and an athletic TE, the things we always struggle with. And then of course there's Julio.
I think we have a small chance to pull it off but I predict a 34-27 loss.
Wouldn't it be ironic though if Gase finally got off against Quinn because of a stellar defensive performance?
Keep bringing the negative comments, you MIGHT convince 1 or 2 more
Hard to be positive when Cutler passed for 92 yards on the Titans. You think he is going to do a 180 turn against a playoff caliber team? Lamo! It’s going to be ugly. Atl is the best team we have faced. I wouldn’t be surprised to see another 0 at the end of this one.
You mean 37 to 2.7 right?
Yeah, has to be a typo. 37 to 3 is more realistic.
I don't even think we have 27 first downs yet!
Lamo! You are probably right. I hope the FO doesn’t waste the top 5 draft pick.
We're going to score 27 points eventually. Even the most defunct teams do.
Honest question.....if we put up 0 points do we bench Cutler for the Jets game?
I dont care about ATL, Gase should worry more about beating teams in our conference.
I think there's a stronger possibility of seeing Moore if Cutler gets hurt than Gase admitting that he was wrong.
No question in my mind either as much as I'd like Moore to take over. Gase won't do it
Quinn wont beat us, but Cutler will. I wish Gase would say that about Cutler.
Looking at our schedule, I highly doubt it. The last two games were against some of the worst defenses that we will see this year. We scored 16 points total for both of those games. Hell, the Titans gave up over 50 points to an offense led by a ****ing rookie the week before our game.
Here is the biggest issue over our 1-4 start last year. Look at who we have played so far this year....bums. We played some of the worst teams in the league and we looked bad on offense the entire time.
The Falcons will be making the statement.
This 2017 version Fins team is disorganized, uninspired, out manned, and over rated. The FO is still convinced that Cutler has some game left.
That said, although I will not be watching, I hope they pull out the win.
First off, let's bring back the old logo..
Secondly, our defense is gelling. It's still early on and thank God, the pats have lost 2. Atlanta's offense ranks 8th in points scored (26) a game. We can stop the run, and Our young corners will need help, although Howard is settling in well. The safeties need to put some hard hits on these receivers to tame them down. I think we can hold them to around 26, maybe even 20, but my issue is can our offense score more.
