Here is a popular coverage that the Patriots use to bracket recievers. In this case, most likely DeAndre Hopkins. The front is not accurate as it was from last year and they now use primarily a 3-3 (sometimes 4-2), but the coverage principles remain the same.

Cross Bracket: Man defenders play #2 to both sides with outside leverage. Down safety (usually McCourty) doubles either #2 crosser.

They did that last time they played Houston too. Eventually NE won. They just made it much more difficult with 2 ST fumbles
