I understood. He's jokingly blaming the board for the Phins misfortune because the board is reporting it. Kinda like if he didnt come here none of these bad things would have happened to the Phins...or at least he wouldnt know about them.

this is the same logic i had about going to the dentist -

everytime i go to the dentist, i have a cavity that needs to get drilled out..... so i said, if i stop going to the dentist i'll stop getting cavities.... damn the dentist!
