That since 1990 the dolphins have brought in 19 running backs and 5 of them were fullbacks , this is intreaging because that is a awful amount of rbs to go through this must explain why we were bad in the 90's . i made a list and i may have missed a couple of players but here is a list of rbs

I AM NOT SURE WHEN THESE GUYS CAME BUT
Bernie Parmalee rb
Leroy Holt fb
I realize that nobody cares but I came across this info and I thought I would throught this out here and see if you guys think this has contributed to our 8-8 seaons which I have been so sick of because of lousy draft position. and to try to understand why we havent had a good rb when most of the nfl had a good back.
this was interesting i thought. :cooldude: :cooldude: :cooldude:
This is not news to most I would guess, we also haven't done a good job drafting quarterbacks since 1983.

You left out Lawrence Phillips, Rashaan Salaam (until he failed the physical), Thurman Thomas, Spikes, Denson, Cleveland Gary I believe was in that time frame, plus a couple others on the roster now like Leonary Henry & Brock Forsey.
Bobby Humphrey

Didn't they even bring in Pete Johnson!!!???
Or was that the 80's too?

Yeah someone else remembered my boy 'higgy'! LOL. Gosh, remember the days...

Yeah, how the hell can you keep Higgs off of that list?????

Mark Higgs IMO was the one who started the trend of backs that would get thisclose to getting the 1,000 yard mark but just couldnt get there....until Jabbar...

I believe he got injured the year he had like 957 yards...or something close to that....I was really rooting for Higgs to be the first since Williams '78 to get that mark...

Keith Byars & the guy from the Chiefs...man what was his name?

Oh yeah...James Saxon.

Research

Don't forget David Overstreet No 20. He gave us our last win over the 49ers in Candelstick. If he hadn't been killed in a car crash in Texas , we would have had a running game in Super Bowl XIX.
Then Maybe Marino would have had his Ring.

I could of swore Kareem Abdul Jabaar played for the Lakers.
He did. It was Karim Abdul Jabbar, after he left the Dolphins and signed with the Colts he changed his name to Karim Abdul Al-Jabbar.
