Will Percy Harvin be better than Reggie Bush

Kind of hard to compare the two since they play different positions, but I think it is a stretch. Not to take anything away from Harvin because he is definitely one of the most electrifying players in college, but he's no Reggie Bush, at least not yet. The thing with Bush was he could consistently get around twenty touches a game between carries, receptions and returns. Harvin doesn't have that luxury as a wide out.

He is an exciting player.Top recruit in the country in his class but he hasnt accomplished the kind of performance that Bush had........yet.

He has the potential but he has to prove it on the field.

Who is Percy Harvin?

Have you repressed the memories?
He does have the potential, but it really is asking a lot. Bush is one of the most productive and electrifying players I've ever seen. Right up there with Marshall Faulk, Rocket, and Barry Sanders.

100% NO....
Harvin is great....but in all the years that I remember watching college football I think of three names who truly stuck out in history...
Those are (in no order)

Desmand Howard
Rocket Ismail
Reggie Bush

PS- I'm a Buckeye---so I hate Michigan, Notre Dame...and have never really liked USC.

Name Three Playmakers better than those....I dare you. ;)

I'm arguably the biggest Harvin fan here but I'd be the first to say he's got a ways to go for that. Does he have the potential? Sure. But there are so many playmakers on an offense that spreads the ball around so much that the odds are against him getting enough touches to put him in that company.

Percy Harvin is gunna be a real beast this year! He has got alot stronger from last year and Urban Meyer plans on getting him the ball alot. I think he has the talent to have a great career and go down as a very special player. Remember he Harvin was only a True Freshman last year.

Now I am not saying Harvin will be better, But stats are pretty close freshman year.

Also remember that Harvin was a decoy in a few games and did not really play that much.

The ankle injury killed at least two games I think. He does have that kind of potential.

It killed more than 2 games.
The Tennessee game is where he got hurt in the 1st quarter and did not return. The Kentucky game he played 1 play with a 2 yard run and he was done. Than missed the bama game. Also the starters played very little v.s. Western Carolina. He only played 1 half v.s. FSU cause of a blow to the head.

He has the talent to be that good, But we will see in time. I think he will be best player on the team this year if he is healthy.
