.Right on! O-line needs to work hard and keep him upright this year.
That might be more difficult if pass-catcher Julius Thomas is our starting TE, and we only have 5 real blockers on the line.
- When our starting TE was a good blocker (Anthony Fasano in 2012, and Dion Sims in 2016), Tannehill had his lowest sack totals.
- When our starting TE was a better receiver (Charles Clay in 2013 & 2014, and Jordan Cameron in 2015), Tannehill's sack totals were much higher.

I've said this before: I believe our offense operates better with a blocking TE. Not only in pass protecting Tannehill (who has weak pocket presence), but also in the running game. Jay Ajayi only became a rushing monster after Jordan Cameron got hurt.
