Kolb to Arizona is now done. Pressure now on Denver

now watch kolb become aaron rodgers or something...figures

well he'll have weapons. Fitz is Fitz, Early Doucet and Andre Roberts both have talent. Ryan Williams and Beanie Wells should be a nice combo along with Stephens-Howlings, and they are high on their 7th round pick DeMarco Sampson.

wow who would have though Kolb and Beck would be the 2 starting QB's from the 2007 draft heading into their 5th year . . . and maybe even Thigpen with the Chan Gailey connection in Buffalo.

The Broncos are $8 million over the cap. Orton counts for $8.9 million. Armando is right, this thing won't get solved until August 4th, when Orton's number is due (Orton wouldn't be able to practice until then anyway). Until then, expect Sparano to say that Henne's looking "great" in camp.
Wouldn't it be funny if Henne actually did look really good in camp and convinced Sparano and Daboll that they didn't need to make the trade. Now that would leave Denver holding the bag for sure.

This signing has AJ Feeley written all over it; Andy Reed strikes again! However it couldn't happen to a nicer owner than old man Bidwell.

With Kolb Off the Board

It looks like we are the only team looking to acquire a starting qb. In about 45 mins VY should be released so well find out what real interest we have in him. I think with VY as our qb well become one of the most dynamic teams in the AFC. Ill be happy with either QB at this point tbh. Vy does come with his baggage but stats dont lie and he is a winner, plus we dont have to give up picks to get him and may be able to sign him cheaper. This will create more room to add depth at LB, S, CB, or WR.

Fitz (90 receptions) is all they have in that receiving corp. Doucet (26 receptions) hasn't done jack and hasn't proven jack, Roberts (24 receptions) may develop but he's got a ways to go coming from The Citadel and they have no TE.

Kolb got benched in Philly where he had DeSean Jackson (47 receptions), Jeremy Maclin (70 receptions), Jason Avant (51 receptions) and Brent Celek (42 receptions) in his receiving corp.

We'll see if Ireland uses Vince Young as leverage or maybe lowers his offer to the Broncos if he really wants to play hardball.

Looks like VY was released.

Does this mean Orton is due for 10 million per???.... I'm getting nervous about these ridiculous contracts.

I mean, it's obvious that Patrick Peterson is gonna be a stud if he keeps his head on straight, and DRC has become an injury concern. But to give a 2nd and a young CB that has great size and (when healthy) a pro bowl caliber player... good god.

That would be like us giving up either Vontae and a 2nd for Josh Johnson

If Kolb becomes the player the Cardinals believe then it's all worth it.
