***Le'Von Bell Released Super Thread*** (merged X4)

It prevents the best teams from picking up potential elite players during the season, should they be released from their teams.

Some team did that with Deion Sanders once, can’t remember the exact specifics but I believe he wanted to go Baltimore or Baltimore claimed him to prevent him from going where he wanted to go.
That was Oakland who did that to Sanders.

Every player Gase touches ends up in shambles. He runs off every one. Jamal Adams and now Bell. He’s running Darnold into the ground too lol

As we all well know!!....Gase has obvious inferiority issues and because he can't deal with it/personnel he is a team ruiner. We saw him jettison any players with an attitude when he was our moron coach - problem is, players with attitudes sometimes are the best players on the field. He wanted low key, manageable automatons who wouldn't speak up or question "his way" of doing things or challenge his fragile ego.

That may have worked 50 years ago but it doesn't work today (maybe Belicheat has that kind of old school power but hardly anyone else)...and what winds up happening is players either act out and get canned (like Bell, Landry, Ajayi, Pouncey, etc) or they shut down with no confidence in the coach - either way it leads to a total lack of leadership & and an ineffective coach/team. Any leader/coach today has to be able to find a way to deal with their people and find a way to get them to perform in the best interests of the team, esp.those with big egos/personalities or they will fail - and that's what we're seeing here.

I mean you have to actually have won something as a coach before you try to control players like that. Gase already doesn’t have any respect lol

Gase has a special gift for alienating talented players.

Might be fun to sign him this week to throttle his old team

Just read on the Ganggreen forums that they are also shopping Crowder and Poole...

lol

You know... for a couple million... I might give him a try out. Let him know that we are drafting a back next year and he'll be Hunt to Chubbs.

The price would have to be right.
I'll wager that with an o-line...that back we draft won't beat Bell out.
