Marcus Vick all class

I could care less about either Vick, they are overrated prima donnas who are no more then RBs. Marcus is already less then classy with his runs in with the law. Doing something childish, vulgar and uncalled is not surprising.

Vick was cursed at, yelled at, etc. How about all those refs and umpires walking around yelling back insults and flipping birds because 80,000 fans are screaming obscenities? I'm sorry but if it's unsatisfactory for umpires and refs, then it is even MORE unacceptable for the players. He;s scum and deserves to be disciplined.

He was a Hurricane 5 years ago and did this, he'd be kicked out of football. But being Vick's brother, in Virginia with those good ole boys, he's let off easy.

Youre kidding right? Miami is a school known for discipline?

Maybe you should seek a refresher course, you really dont need to go back any farther than Winslow :rofl3:

I agree, his action was childish and immature and he should be benched, but expelled? Get real and let the punishment fit the crime.

he apologized for it, btw. not sure why people are caught up in this. im more pissed at ozzie guillen for what he did to the indian fans. classless

Not to mention, hypocritical, Who's team went from 15 games up to only win by 2?

Because he flipped off fans! In the UNITED STATES OF AMERICAN in OUR Society, that isn't acceptable. This wasn't a 1st time thing. He has been arrested numerous times. He has been caught having sex with underage girls. He has been kicked off the team for a year for prior off the field issues. The guy has a history, yet he keeps getting off and coming back with almost no "real" punishment. Now, he does this on Saturday. When does it end? At what point does the school step in and say......"he's a bad image for the Univeristy of Virigina Tech". Or how about the ACC or NCAA saying, enoug his enough? What, does he have to rape a female on the sideline then kill someone to finally cross the line? At what point does someone step in and say, no more. If it was JUST a middle finger, with no prior history, ok you move on from it. When you have a rap sheet of a thug and a criminal like Vick has, and you flip off fans on national tv, then it becomes an issue. IT shows that he still hasn't learned and isn't mature enough to get a free education and play NCAA football. He wants all of the perks of being a starting QB for a top team, yet he doesn't want to follow any rules or act like a part of our civilization. He is a criminal, has raped minors, and has shown a lack respect for anything and anyone. Keep defending him though.........

I can say this is one of the rare times that I 100% agree with you!

Weaver the AD at VT is an @$$, he left Florida when scandels caught up to him, now its starting at VT. Weaver has no class at all!

OH WAIT, THERE IS MORE! He also threw a forearm to the back of the head of a WV assistant coach.......

It turns out Vick not only made an obscene gesture, and not only flipped a ball into the face of a West Virginia defensive back after a play -- drawing a personal foul for his actions -- he also delivered a forearm to the back of the head of a Mountaineers assistant coach while returning to the field after going out of bounds. "I think he apologized to the fans, but I think my coach on the sidelines deserves an apology as well," Rodriguez said. Rodriguez did not identify the assistant, but did seem to indicate that Vick went out of his way to blindside the coach as he returned to the field.

mike, stop overblowing everything. he's been arrested twice, that's not numerous- that's a couple of times. the speeding and weed in his car was stupid, but no dumber than pat surtain's dui, and he was a beloved figure on this board. also, he was convicted of giving teenage girls alcohol, not raping them. those are three misdemeanors, which he paid for and he's ready to move on. the problem is that you want him to be humble and have his hat in hand, but he's not going to be that for you, but that's no reason to call somebody a rapist.

Being arrested twice at his very young age is not overblowing anything. This guy has a rap sheet the size of the San Diego telephone book. Hitting a WV assistant coach in the back of the head and flipping off fans is just adding to the list. Throw him off the team or suspend him.

Weaver won't do it! He hired the Ex florida swim coach, who was in a scandel at Florida involving sex with a swimmer. It all starts at the Top, and Weaver is a bad egg AD!!!

ok, so fans can act like idiots and that gives the players rights some 2 or 3 years later to flip them off. :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3:

It's safe to say with your logic you didn't go to WV, VT, or any college for that matter.

thats your problem and the problem with the rest of this country. We worry about the way players in sports act but not how the fans are. For example, look what happened to artest...is that his fault? no, it is the pistons fault for security reasons one adn two he reacted like many other humans would react that dont tolerate actions of that nature...in other words, ppl who dont put up wiht others ****. How many times have fans thrown stuff at players, cursed at them, etc etc? god konws but they deal with it. eventually when u are in a game and you make a play taht pumps you up and have all that adrenalin (sorry i typed this word wrong) going you tend to also let that **adrenalin** act upon the fans you watn to show otherwise. it is normal human behavior coming from competitive people.
