So he's at least another option. If we can find a trading partner for Surtain, it might pave the way for Shaun to don a Dolphins uniform.

Worst case scenario, it takes away a potential suitor for Lamont Jordan's services (Tampa Bay).

He definitley is an option. I bet he at least comes in for a FA visit, but if he demands a HUGE(and I mean huge) contract, I could see Saban passing on him.

I think there is already a thread on this. I think Alexander will to expensive for us anyway but the more RBs that are out there the better it is for us to get someone like Jordan as you mentioned.

huh?

if this was some sort of Sanford and Son reference I wouldn't understand because I never really watched it
Apparently... you heard about it or you wouldn't have mentioned it... :)

dudes....Shaun Alexander expressed interest in playing for Miami, so im sure Saban could give him a nice cheap contract and he'd accept it. Possibly 1 or 2 million a year.

Plus a 15 million dollar signing bonus.

Alexander to Miami would be on par with Ricky to Miami. Would be a huge media circus for a guy in his prime. I'd MUCH rather draft Benson or even Caddy, because a youthful team for us would make a much cheaper team with less whiners (hopefully)

Absolutely AWFUL Sanford and Son reference by the way. I didn't get it.
