I'd have to assume this is the beginning of the end for Dansby....would save close to 3.5 million against the cap. Burnett by comparison would still be about 3.25 but Dansby's contract is crippling next year so gotta assume his hours are numbered....

I seen 8.5 million for dansby but can't fully confirm. Burnett is 5.2 and patterson is the nearly the same. Id rather have Dansby and Ellerbe instead of Burnett and Ellerbe. Not sure if dumping Patterson and Burnett leaves much money in dead cap space.

I'm seeing 4.6M in dead cap space for Dansby. Again cannot confirm it's 100%.
