Merged: East West Shrine Game

Should have been Schlegel and Henderson chasing McNeal while he rolled right then left. McNeal's arm is good. It's his decisions so far that suck. His accuracy looks ok too...but what good is accuracy when you're throwing to covered guys? Reminds me of Omar Jacobs vs. Boise State....accurate strong passes straight to WRs who are covered.

Who was that chasing McNeal on that TD play....wow is he quick.

Let me check the roster real quick.. You beat me too it.. I was wondering myself.. #51 was Anthony Schlegel.. An ILB for Ohio State... Ranked #9 out of ILB's on NFLdraftcoundown.com.. I expect him to go late 1st early 2nd day...

CK Tim Day looks like an impressive reciever, how are his blocking skills? Do you think his game can translate well into the NFL at H-Back?

Leon Washington... Nice..

Horrible mechanics on the first throw right there by Jackson, his feet were all tied up, nearly picked.. Nice play by Hopoi....

Washington goes nowhere...

Jackson does nothing right there... Bad run.. Noone open

Leon looking real good. Fifita not bad. Not special yet. Hopoi had a good rush. Fifita bounced in pretty good on another play on stunt to outside but was falling as he pressured Tarvarus. Punter is real good but didnt show much control on touchback.

Tim Day should be a TE, not H-Back. He was mostly a blocker at Oregon. He reminds me a lot of Donald Lee as a prospect. Blocking specialist that was underused in the passing game at Oregon and has the athleticism to be good on both ends.

They keep talking about McNeal but he his feet give him an unfair advantage in All-Star games.

McNeal just fired a nice ball on post in to Carter. TAMU to TAMU, both know this offense. Advantage to them

Nice Pass by McNeal to Carter... Big yardage.. A tad high but good enough...

Another decent pass... Screen... Gilbert Harris with the catch... Gain of about 6 or 7...

Torean Henderson with a decent run of 4 or 5 yards... 1st down...

End of first...

I don't know why but Reggie McNeal reminds me of Aaron Brooks

Theres Hass... I, personally, have been waiting for him... Decent pass by McNeal... He was pretty embarassingly wide open though....

Theres Torean Henderson again.. Decent run.. Studder step made him go down right there though...

TD Torean Henderson... Nice drive...

BTW Golston has looked good so far, it is really hard to judge these big uglies upon the first review. Lucky for me the DVR is going back home. I'll get a good look at this stuff later.

Mike Hass is smart and Reggie is doing a great time buying time with his feet, but that rolling to the left then throwing back to the middle crap is generally referred to as a bad decision in the NFL.

Taurean Henderson continuing to look good. On D I'm noticing good hustle from James Anderson and Brandon Hoyte. This is set up to be a shootout. The West needs to take McNeal out of this game. He's got way too many advantages. Put Mike Vick in any given pro bowl and I bet he'd dominate like this too. That doesn't mean he's this good week in and week out against defenses that practice together and have game plans.

Exactly.. The only way I want McNeal is as a WR, not a QB..

Gradkowski in, Jon Orr in too. Wait for this guy. He's going to look GOOD.

Dwayne Slay puts stops on roll out pass to Brandon Williams.
