Merged: Michael Robinson

Just got back from State College. He is a very good player, but he will not translate into a Pro QB. I see him switching to WR before the draft. I wouldn't mind having him here for like a 4th or 5th(if we can get into this round) round pick for him.

Me too. Great game. :D

michael robinson

could he be good in mularkeys system i dont think id like it and want cutler but mularky did win with cordell who is a very similair player

He never really liked Kordell, he just inherited him.

Haha...you beat me too it.....

Kordell is not a starting QB in the NFL for a reason...just because Mularkey maximized him for that season, doesnt mean he is the type of QB you want.

I think there's evidence to say though that Mularkey would appreciate the things that a mobile quarterback bring to the table.

I think he'll just want a balanced QB. Even though he never had him I'm pretty sure he would have wanted Roethlisberger over Rivers. Cutler's stock probably has gone even higher for the Fins now considering he's about as balanced as you can get.

Michael Robinson

This may be a guy to look at in the draft. With Mularkey being here now he has liked this type of player in the past. (Hines Ward, Randel El, Kordell Stewart) Robinson played RB, WR and QB in his time at Penn State. I know he really doesn't have a future at QB, but he could be a guy that give us a lot of options on offense.

he may make a good Kr or Wr, but as a QB he cant hit a barn door

I was thinking this yesterday.. If he is there Day 2, I think Saban would look hard at him. Mularkey has a history with slash/type players.

Mularkey's offense was more about Tommy Maddox, not Kordell Stewart. That said, Michael Robinson is a great player and actually did pretty well at quarterback when he was given the chance to start without any pressure.

I was thinking more along the lines of Randle El.. Id think Robinson at WR, not QB.

The problem is that Robinson wants to be a QB and scouts have him tagged as a WR...there will be issues wherever he goes because of that. I'm sure in his interviews he's asking teams not to draft him as a WR...

Anyone who likes Michael Robinson please go to espn.com and read about Mondays Senior Bowl Practices and how inaccurate and disappointing Robinsons performance was.

Yep thats exactly it. The people close to him need to stop being weak, give him a good slap, and tell him how much more money he might make if he makes the switch.
