Apologies in advance if this is the wrong section for this post. There used to be a tailgating forum but I don't see it on the main forum page anymore.

Dolfansnyc is planning a group ticket buy to this years Fins vs Jets game on Dec1. Last year more than 300+ Dolphins fans met up and tailgated together and then took over an entire section at the game. If you happen to be watching the game on TV and heard "Let's Go Dolphins" that was us. Wanted to post here so we could get an even larger group together for this year. Details at the link.

Sounds great what section will you ne sitting in?
 
I do not know, I'm not the actual organizer of the event. I just wanted to spread the news so we could get the biggest crowd as possible.

Last year was a little weird w/ the impending hurricane coming. There was an eery feeling all day long.

This would be like going back to the mid 90s when Miami was a playoff caliber team and we stunk.
 
It's just nice for Miami to rep in NY after all those years watching Jets fans invade Joe Robbie/ProPlayer/etc.

It's funny you say that b/c I felt the opposite in the late 90s when we started beating Miami all the time. I had been to every home game during the terrible years in the 90s and there were always a ton of phin fans. My only hope is much like the last 2 times Miami was supposed to be better than us that we surprise- 2006 & 2009.

One thing Miami fans do well is show up in large numbers to road games. Home games are a different story.

You would remember going 8-0 vs Miami from 1998-2001 but forget going 1-7 from 1994-1997 which is pretty much a wash.

Dolphins will tie the head to head record in the next 3 seasons.Jets are too much in disarray and Don't expect the Jets to surprise any team this year.
