That's because he is being prepared for when Drew is done. He shold be ready by then. A qb that has had 1 year to learn or get ready is better than any no.1 in next yeas draft. BTW, there isn't a qb next year that would be considered better than Losman.

You only build depth through the draft..

How is it a contradiction? No matter how you look at it, you mortgaged future picks to make a pick now. First you traded a #1 (Ty Warren, a starter) for Bledsoe. Now you are trying to fix that wrong just 2 years later by trading another #1 in 2005 AND you gave up a 2nd (Julius Jones) and a 5th (Sean Ryan). Thats too much.

I love it when Tom Donohoe says the the Pats "out-coached and out-personeled us" and then goes out and does the opposite. :D
