1 Jim Johnson
2 Ron Rivera
3 Rex Ryan
4 Brian schottenheimer
What do you guy's think!
i wouldn't mind ron or rex.
hmm, their not Cam Cameron.
That's a pretty small list. What about Parcells, Cowher, Cameron, Pioli, Bates, etc. etc.
my best choices are wisenhut, cameron, ryan, or rivera
if we go offensive (like we should) get cameron or wisenhut id be fine with either and just let capers run with the D
Parcell's is done
Cowher I would love him but no way he leave's pitt and then come's to us in the same year you can forget about that
Pioli don't no enough of him
Bate's better coordinator than head coach
What about Jim morra Jr
cowher has resigned with the steelers...
I like #4.
Yeah we already have 3 interviews lined up and there has only been an opening for just over 24 hours. I expect us to interview 7 or 8 guys and get the list down to 2 or 3 by time the championship games roll around.
My finalist are Cam Cameron, Ron Rivera and Jim Bates. That's just my opinion, who knows, could be wrong.
Pioli is a GM not a coach. As for the rest, what about them? With the exception of Cameron, I wouldnt want any of them.
Cowher is burned out and wont come here. Tuna is overrated and is crapping it up in Dallas atm, and Bates is a never was.
He said resign, you're thinking he said RE-SIGN. Resign is when you resignate your position.
1. Bill Cowher
2. Bill Parcells
3. Rich Rodriguez. WVU.

Bates would suck, would be a step backward. We need NEW blood. There are plenty of promising coordinators to choose from. We would be fools to pas on them and trot out the retread.
I actully agree. I still think Bates is a finalist just because of his past here. I am 100% with you that we need new blood and one of those awesome coordinators. The league is rich with them and I'm sure the'd all love a HC job. If Linehan left his job at Miami for St. Louis, there is no doubt in my mind 95% of these other coordinators would leave for this job.
^ for those who have not read it.
I was reading on fox sports net and the list is huggeee
Bill Cowher, Ken Wisenhun, Russ Grimm (all from Pittsburgh)
Pete Carrol (USC)
Bobby Petrino (Louisville)
Rex Ryan (Baltimore)
Ron Rivera (Chicago)
Jim Mora Jr.
Cam Cameron (San Diego)
Mike Singletary (San Francisco)
Norm Chow (Tennessee)
and even Mike Shula
how about the guy nobody is talking about, Al Saunders. he is the best offensive guy in the league and has had success everywhere he has been. he would surely turn Ronnie Brown into a star
just a couple thoughts
No Bates, we'd go back to the lazy attitude. We don't need that. Plus, he doesn't sound interested in rebuilding.
With Cowher leaving, Ken Wisenhunt will likely be named his replacement (unless the Rooney's go after Jim Haslet, which is rumored)
Jim Johnson (DC of the Eagles) is getting up there in age, and has said he's not interested in becoming a head coach now.
Mike Schula... maybe as a QB coach or OC if Garrett leaves.
Mike Martz, no. He's got an attitude that will make you turn on him withing a week.
I'm warming up to the Mike Shula idea, he had success at Alabama and was a previous assistant head coach here in Miami before
Saunders was a HC in San Diego and went 17-22. Thats a small sample size I'll admit, but still.
two words, Bill Belichek. we all know he was unsuccessful in his first coaching job. plus anybody who comes here and is coach has a pretty good situation. we have a great owner and a good staff of coachs, I've heard that it is one the better staffs in the whole NFL
Belichick is an anomaly and everyone here knows it.
By the way you should mention in your sig that Cam has never been an head coach in the NFL.
