22 TE JACE AMARO TEXAS TECH
53 OG ZACK MARTIN NOTRE DAME
86 ILB CHRIS BORLAND WISCONSIN
117 C BRYAN STORK FLORIDA STATE
150 OT SEANTREL HENDERSON

I took a TE with my top pick, and I went heavy on the oline. I do not know any of these players. This site will be a lot of fun as the draft approaches and after I do my homework.

i'm doing it right now...top pick i'm choosing from dt louis nix s deon bucannon (who is rated too low) cb darquez dennard dt will sutton (who is too low) olb ryan shazier...think i pass on the olb and corner and take a dt but which damn one...love sutton love nix upside...gonna steal bucannon later

the ot class top pick worthy has been picked clean

took louis nix...bet on the upside and the potential every down player over the undersized nickle rusher early in will sutton...

2nd pick might have to steal deon buccanon now at safety...tackle class is gone...no value here...wr jarvis landry is there but we have solid depth...someone is getting an underrated guy though i know that much there...

bucannons size is terrific hits like a truck hips look pretty fluid like what i see gonna be a riser come draft prep time...hmmm

will sutton still there damn could have waited oh well...austin seferian jenkins is there but he's a primary in line tight end and well we have dion sims for that jenkins is a more dynamic pass catcher though but not a gonna blow doors off a defense down the seam guy...so i pass...even though in the red thats gonna help someone out...might have to think about that one some more

guards zach martin and gabe jackson are interesting to me here...

2nd pick safety deon buccanon washington state

3rd pick surprise one safety dion bailey usc...i'm not taking him to play safety though i'm taking him to play an undersized 43 wolb...i saw him play lb at usc in years past he's instinctual as they come flies to the football...slightly smaller version of lavonte david who i loved as a undersized 43 lb a couple years ago...dion bailey comes in at 220 plus lbs like i think he will i'm taking him and letting him show these guys what instincts are about at lb

I was looking at tackle depth. Easley, Manumaleuna if you are looking at 3-gappers, Barnett, Demonte Coleman all available much later. I would not sweat over Sutton or a DT in general early. I'd take Benjamin and Landry in first two rounds without blinking. Don't care for either Hartline or Wallace, they are not on that level, in spite of salaries.

Today I was able to pick TE Eric Ebron from UNC, OG Zack Martin from ND, RB Andre Williams from BC, C Weston Richberg from Colorado (convert him to OG and backup C), OT Seantrel Henderson from Miami, QB Braxton Miller from OSU (convert him to WR), and OT Jeremiah Searles from Nebraska.

So I went all offense, getting 3 playmakers at RB, TE, and WR. Also 4 OL.

They had a lot of people too high and too low.. They had Linder going undrafted, but I see him being taken before Henderson.

I had an OT run by the time my pick came up. Ended up with

R1
OT ANTONIO RICHARDSON
TENNESSEE
R2
OG ZACK MARTIN
NOTRE DAME
R3
OT SEAN HICKEY
SYRACUSE

Did a second draft, full 7 this time, and it turned out with:

R1
DT LOUIS NIX III
NOTRE DAME
R2
OT LA’EL COLLINS
LSU
R3
OG XAVIER SU’A-FILO
UCLA
R4
C WESTON RICHBURG
COLORADO STATE
R5
S TY ZIMMERMAN
KANSAS STATE
R6
RB RAJION NEAL
TENNESSEE
R7
TE CHRIS COYLE
ARIZONA STATE

There was an even bigger run on OT's in this draft, so I had to wait til round 2, or completely reach.

Eric Ebron TE UNC
Ka'Deem Carey RB Arizona
Jawaun James OT Tennessee
Brandon Thomas OG Clemson
Chris davis cb Auburn
Dri Archer RB Kent State
Wesley Johnson OT Vanderbilt

Missed on linebacker help. Dri Archer or chris davis should help return kicks IMO as Thigpen has been pedestrian

One more go..
Antonio Richardson
Shane Skov
Sean Hickey OT
Weston Richburg C (potential for Pouncey at guard if this guy panned out)
Jonathan Dowling WKU Safety (playmaking 6'3 safety)
Ladarius Perkins RB
Kenny Shawy wr

OK, I love this site. Garbage in-garbage out, so their rankings of players will influence the outcome, but it's fun nonetheless.

With our newly minted #19 draft slotting, I managed to get a great draft. It'll never actually happen, because spending the first 4 picks to fix the OL is considered crazy ... but I'd take these guys:

19 OT TAYLOR LEWAN MICHIGAN

50 OG ZACK MARTIN NOTRE DAME

81 OT JACK MEWHORT OHIO STATE

112 OT JAMES HURST UNC

Getting James Hurst at 112 is a pipe dream ... but hey, this would be one heck of a draft. 3 legitimate OT's in the group for coverage and 4 good pass blockers to go with Pouncey. Start a couple of them as rookies or take our lumps and start all 4, but this would be the backbone of a strong offensive line for most of Tannehill's career ... and that's a heck of a good thing from a draft IMHO.
