No Way Miami Trades Up In The Draft......

I say the phins pick up Flynn in FA... let him know that he's the guy so he'll come here. Trade Matt Moore, whose stock has peaked, to the Browns and swap firsts, so we can pick up Blackmon with the 4th overall pick. Draft a TE like Fleener in the 2nd, and a project QB like Foles or Cousins in the 3rd. Pick up additional FA's at the positions of S, LB and OL and or do BPA at those spots in the later rounds of the draft.

i agree 110% awsome moves ,hell get in here GM and go to work . lol

If the Browns were smart they would just sign Matt Flynn and draft Claiborne with their 4th pick and Richardson with their late first rounder.

I feel Richardson will drop to late first like Ingram did.

Vikes could steal Blackmon away if the Rams did that, but Khalil would be a good consolation. Cle could very easily roll the dice that RG3 would slip to them at 4 and then get leapfrogged by a more aggressive team. Part of me would rather we trade back and gain assets for Barkley next year, but that's unrealistic as teams with uncertain situations can't play the long game.

This is the plan IMO.... unless you think we can go 10-6 next year with Moore chances are we will be a 7-9 8-8 team with the weak schedule we face. Unless someone amazing falls to us when we pick... I think we trade back to the mid 20's and try and acquire another 1st next year.... That gives us 2 firsts plus the rest of our picks to load up in a trade to get Barkley next season.

Then again the Browns could decide to get richer and trade down

this would probably be in the Browns best interest, they are not one player away from being contenders. They have alot of holes on that team and more picks sounds more realistic than them trading away picks/players to move up 2 spots.

I don't think you can spend a 1st rd pick on a guy who will only be in the league for 5 years max. Weeden can't be your 1st rd pick, he can't start immediately, and his upside is limited. You'd be better off trading the pick for Flynn.

As things sit, we could trade down a few picks and still get someone like Decastro and add picks for depth elsewhere. Heck, we could get someone like Chris Polk around #15, an immediate impact player.

Polk at 15? I'm a big UW fan and I wouldn't take Polk before mid 2nd round. Richardson I'd take at 9 to 15 any day of the week.

15 probably is a reach. Recent numbers suggest Polk is a late 1st, early 2nd. I don't see a whole lot of impact rushers this year, and if RB is how you want to go you may have to reach.
