You can trade 2017 comp picks. That's why Miami made the pick a conditional 4th round pick and that condition was that if Miami got a compensatory pick in the 4th round of 2017 that would be the pick the Vikings would receive.

While the Patriots still have a good shot at the SB, trading away Jones and Collins will show up in the playoffs. Given Brady's age/narrowing window, I don't like the moves. But, if BB manages to win a SB anyway this year, he'll look really smart.

Word has it Collins was responsible for a few key catches and TD's by journeyman TE Owen Daniels in last years AFCCG. :idk:
