Zito, Cain, Lowery, Linecum

If this team doesn't win a championship within the next 5 years they never will!!!!
 
And Benitez was doing so good before this blow-up. This better not become a trend like last year. Oh well, on to Colorado.

Then you look at theyre bats and wonder if they can do better then 3rd. I mean Matt Morris would be a #3 for a lot of pretty decent teams. But Bengie Molina as my 5 hitter....???

And they arent stocked with position prospects.

That said Zito pitched a heck of a game and is a notorious slow starter so this could be the start of a nice run.

Oh we owed him that loss. 2 years ago he had one of the best seasons any pitcher has ever had against 1 team when he recorded 10 saves vs NYM and a sub 1 era...hes been too injured since to get that payback game.

Fair enough. :lol: But the way it went down just made it that much more painful to watch.
 
Their starting pitching could carry them a long way this year

gotta get rid of Bentiez though
