I'm not a Heat fan, but I gotta say, I'm excited to watch them this year.

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade said Friday the reality of being a teammate of LeBron James and Chris Bosh finally hit home at Sunday's Miami Dolphins game against the New York Jets, as the trio sat in the same suite

"All sitting together, having an opportunity to talk," Wade said, "we just looked around and LeBron looked at both of us. He's like, 'This is crazy. What are you all doing here? What am I doing here? What are we doing here together?' "

Wade said it remains somewhat staggering that they landed in the same spot.

You should be. These guys are going to be exciting and will be putting a lot of butts in seats and eyes on the TV screens. The NBA, much less any other major sport has seen anything like this. It's going to be a season to remember!

If this was NFL training camp, Mike Miller, James Jones and Eddie House would be lined up at the far end of the field, involved in their own kicking competition. May the most accurate win.

Because this is NBA camp, the three instead can be found at the 3-point line.

No, there is no specific open competition when it comes to winning the job as designated 3-point specialist, but the Miami Heat certainly finds itself in good hands.

In Miller, Jones and House, the Heat features three of the Top 20 active NBA players in terms of career 3-point percentage, with Miller seventh, Jones 16th and House 20th.
