Does getting rid of Feeley now make our cap situation better then just waiting to the offseason to release him? :confused:

It's slightly better because the amortization was put on the 2005 books. He will no longer count vs cap after 2005. How much? I'll hafta get my spreadsheet out

Ok cool. I would rather him take up the room we have now then the room next offseason. :)

As far as I know the only thing that will count against the cap for us was his signing bonus.
