We have placed the franchise tag on wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

I knew Tannenbaum would overpay...

They slapped it on early on so maybe they are trying to work something. If Landry doesn’t sign it they could mess with him a little and pull it late on I guess when other teams have made other plans and commitments.

I'm glad they hit him with the tag but not sure he is 16 mil a year. I hope they did this to just be able to get a contract in place.

Are they really playing their hand this early announcing via Dar they are taking trade offers. His trade value is only going down now. I would have tagged him and say we are still working towards a long term deal

That cap number better come down. I want Landry to stay but at 16 million it’s just too much.
