The team's number of yards per carry wasn't any worse than the league average.

It was the percentage of the time it ran the ball that was poor and misguided.

There's no reason to believe that a normal percentage of runs wouldn't have resulted in a normal amount of rushing yards.

I agree, I think with an improved oline (hopefully), and a more balanced offensive gameplan (hopefull), and continued improvement by Tannehill (hopefully), than overall this offense should be much better. But that is a lot of "hopefullys" so we won't know for sure until the real games begin in September - which is why I don't get all hot and bothered in the offseason/preseason prediction nonsense, there is a lot of questions that need answers currently.
